Can the property company charge the decoration management fee?

Decoration management fee is a temporary charging item set by the owner because the decoration project increases the workload of property management services. The specific charging standard is not clearly stipulated by the state, and can be charged by the decorator and the property service enterprise to the owner.

Legal basis: Article 13 of the Measures for the Administration of Residential Interior Decoration. Before the residential interior decoration project starts, the decorator shall declare and register with the property management enterprise or the housing management institution (hereinafter referred to as the property management unit). Non-owner residential users shall obtain the written consent of the owner for decorating the residential interior.
