Is there a conflict between water fee, garbage fee and property fee in Nanjing?

There is no conflict between water charges, garbage charges and property charges in Nanjing.

Starting from 2020, in order to avoid repeated collection of (garbage) fees, the standard of garbage fees in Nanjing is unified as: 2.5 yuan/month for residential areas with property.

In 2020, we will no longer adopt the operation mode of collecting first and then returning. Since 20021,there is no annual garbage fee refund in 30 yuan in the previous year.

Collection methods of garbage fees before 2020:

Before 2020, Nanjing will collect garbage fees and water fees simultaneously, that is, according to the water fee collection method, all charging outlets of water supply enterprises (including self-provided water plants) will collect garbage fees and tap water fees together.

Regardless of whether there is property management in the community, citizens should pay the garbage fee according to 5 yuan/month when paying the water fee. Then, with the receipt of the property management fee, the monthly refund of 2.5 yuan in the previous year will be given to the citizens of the property management community in the following year 1 month.

So one year 12 months is 12×2.5=30 yuan. Some property companies will use it to deduct the property fees of the year when operating.
