Safety means no danger, no threat and no accident. Property safety generally includes three meanings:

First, people and property in the property area are not infringed, and the living order, working order and public places in the property area are kept in good order.

Secondly, property security not only means that people and property in the property area are not infringed, but also means that there are no other factors leading to such infringement, that is, the safe state of property should be neither dangerous nor possible.

Third, property safety is the overall reflection of all aspects of safety factors in the property area, not just the safety of a certain aspect of the property.

There are many factors that affect the safety of property, and the changes are relatively fast. It can be divided into two categories: ① human invasion factors, such as fire, theft, fighting and so on. (2) Natural invasion factors, such as strong wind blowing down billboards, elevator failure, etc. Safety managers should be aware of these factors that affect safety and pay attention to dealing with them at any time.

2. Safety management

Property safety management refers to a kind of management work that property management enterprises take various measures and means to ensure the personal and property safety of owners and users and maintain normal life and work order. Property safety management includes "prevention" and "protection". "Prevention" is to prevent the occurrence of catastrophic and harmful accidents; "Guarantee" means taking various measures to properly handle accidents when they occur. "Prevention" means disaster prevention and "protection" means disaster reduction. The two complement each other and are indispensable.

As a professional service work, property safety management is a professional safety work between the responsibilities of public security organs and social self-prevention. Compared with these two forms of social security management (public security organs and social self-defense), they are complementary and have the advantages of supplementing the shortage of national security police, reducing the financial burden of the state and targeting the scope of work responsibilities.

The purpose of property safety management is to ensure and maintain a safe and comfortable working and living environment for owners and users, so as to improve the quality of life and work efficiency.
