What do you mean by east, west, north and south?

East, west, south, north and middle respectively represent five directions, with east, south, west and north as the basic directions and northeast and southeast as the middle. In the birth horoscope, the diagonal distance between two planets is called direction.

Azimuth is the position in all directions. The four directions or basic directions are east, west, south and north, and the relative directions are front, back, left, right, up, down and middle. Southeast, Northwest and Middle Azimuth:

In China, the easternmost part is the intersection of the main channel of Heilongjiang and the main channel of Wusuli River (about 135 degrees east longitude), and the westernmost part is Pamir Plateau (73.5 degrees east longitude).

The northernmost part: the middle line of Heilongjiang main channel north of Mohe River in Heilongjiang Province (about 53 degrees north latitude), the southernmost part: Zengmu shoal in Hainan Province (about 4 degrees north latitude), the middle part, that is, the origin, is in the middle of Shaanxi Province.
