Community (residential area) Party branch is the leading core of all kinds of organizations in community (residential area) and county work. Its main responsibilities are:

1. Publicize and implement the Party's line, principles and policies and national laws and regulations, implement the resolutions of higher-level party organizations, and unite and organize party member people to complete various tasks undertaken by their communities (residential areas).

2. Strengthen the Party branch's own construction, do a good job in education, management and supervision in party member, do a good job in developing party member, and give play to party member's vanguard and exemplary role in community (residential area) work.

3, support and ensure the administrative organs to perform their duties according to law.

4, in accordance with the requirements of the street party (industry) committee, do a good job in the education, training, assessment and supervision of community (neighborhood) cadres.

5, close contact with the masses, reflect the opinions and demands of the masses, do a good job in mass work, do a good job in regional services.

6, do a good job in the construction of spiritual civilization, educate residents to abide by the law, safeguard and promote the economic development and social stability in this region.

Weiyang district adheres to the guidance of Party building and gives full play to the role of community party organizations. On the basis of the traditional "district-street-community" system, it innovatively establishes "community workstations" as "nerve nodes" and takes every building head as "neurons", constantly promoting the full coverage of "community party organizations", "community workstations" and "community building heads" and deeply practicing "community workstations".

Service jobs extend to the community. The construction of community workstations has "iteratively upgraded" the "1+ 10+N" party-mass service system in the whole district, completed the "district-street-community-community" service system architecture, and 202 intensive community service positions spread to 466 community workstations and 4,954 households, realizing the transition from "district-street-community"

Governance forces gathered in the building. 4,954 building directors in the whole district actively indicated their identity as building directors, actively understood the needs of residents and actively responded to the voices of residents. Through the implementation of the "knocking on the door and asking for care" action, they rushed to the front line of epidemic prevention and control in community workstations and buildings, enriching and expanding the community work team. The governance structure has been closely upgraded. Based on the three-level grid system of district, street and community, the community workstation has set up 466 small grids and 4954 building micro-grids, eliminating the blank and blind spots of social governance, effectively connecting the governance structure between communities and buildings, dredging the "peripheral nerve" of social governance, and weaving the grass-roots governance grid more finely.

As "teams" and "special guests" of community work, community workstations and community construction leaders are closer to residents, the "peripheral nerves" of social governance, and the microscopic "headquarters" of mobilizing and serving the masses. Community workstations achieve regular consultations through regular work meetings to solve problems that the masses care about. In the epidemic prevention and control work, various prevention and control work instructions and policy propaganda were quickly transmitted to every building from the micro "headquarters" of the community workstation, realizing high-speed transmission and accurate prevention and control.

The transformation of governance power to diversification. In this epidemic, the building director of the community grasped and reported the information of pregnant women, elderly people living alone and isolated people at home for the first time. In view of the lack of neighborhood communication in the newly-built commercial community, we set up a neighborhood bookstore, a station attendant and a mutual aid wall, and carried out activities such as neighborhood festival, community sports meeting and bench meeting to turn strangers into new friends. In view of the characteristics of many elderly people and families with difficulties in the old community, the director of the building visited regularly to understand the needs of residents with mobility difficulties such as elderly people living alone, and carried out convenient services such as running errands, medical care, community services and labor security for the elderly.
