What are the provisions of the Fire Protection Law on fire exits?

Fire escape is a passage for firefighters to rescue and evacuate trapped people, such as stairs, aisles, residential exits, etc. From the residential area, the stairs from the indoor to the ground and the road from the residential area to the outdoor belong to the fire escape. Article 28 of the Fire Protection Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that no unit or individual may occupy, block or close evacuation passages, fire exits and fire truck passages. Doors and windows in crowded places shall not be equipped with obstacles that affect escape and fire fighting and rescue. Article 60 stipulates that those who occupy, block or close the passage of fire engines and obstruct the passage of fire engines shall be ordered to make corrections, and be fined from 5,000 yuan to 50,000 yuan, given a warning or fined from 500 yuan. Chapter III, Article 28 of the Regulations on Fire Safety Management of High-rise Civil Buildings stipulates that evacuation passages and safety exits of high-rise civil buildings should be kept smooth, and it is forbidden to pile up articles, block exits and set obstacles. It is forbidden to occupy or block fire hydrants, to pile up sundries in fire hydrant box, and to pile up articles under fire shutters. Chapter III Article 37 stipulates that it is forbidden to park or charge electric bicycles in public halls, evacuation walkways, stairwells and emergency exits of high-rise civil buildings. In violation of the provisions, the fire rescue agency shall order it to make corrections, and impose a fine of more than 500 yuan 1000 yuan on non-business units and individuals.
