Resident Li said that the soil around the collapsed mountain looks loose. He is worried that if it continues to rain heavily in Guiyang these days, the surrounding mountains will collapse. The reporter came to the bottom of five dormitory buildings and saw that the roads leading to the back hill at both ends of the dormitory were pulled up. The notice should be posted on the wall, asking residents not to cross the cordon and enter the dangerous area before removing it.

After 5 pm on June 26, leaders and staff of relevant departments rushed to the scene of the accident to carry out risk investigation. Worried about the danger of landslides to residents, the staff went door-to-door to persuade 93 households in Building No.5, 1 and Building No.2 near the mountain to evacuate quickly and stay in the arranged hotels.

According to Director Tang, after all the residents in the community were evacuated, the relevant departments and geological experts in Yunyan District stayed at the scene to observe the danger. Geological experts also ventured to climb to the top of the mountain to monitor the landslide until after 10 on the morning of 27th. According to the monitoring, the security risks have been temporarily eliminated and residents can rest at home. Experts suggest that after the rainy season, the mountain should be treated in all aspects. At present, residents are advised not to go to Houshan for activities, just in case.
