1, Hunan University:

Hunan University originated from Yuelu Academy, which was founded in 976. After the changes of Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, Yuelu Academy was merged and transformed into Hunan Academy in 1897. Hunan Normal University was founded in 19 12. Hunan University was founded in 1926.
