Niushou Mountain is a famous Buddhist mountain. Tang Daizong "once dreamed of worshipping Buddha in Niushou Mountain", so he had a tower. In the Tang Dynasty, Master Farong, known as "Eastern Xia Buddhism", founded Niutou Zen in Niushou Mountain, which was called "Jiangbiao Niutou Zen" in ancient times. The establishment of Niutou Zen played an important role in the transformation from Indian Zen to China Zen.
