Because the transformer used in the community is a 35kv high-voltage transformer, this transformer needs professional daily maintenance, but because this equipment does not belong to the power supply department, they have no right or obligation to repair and maintain it.

The relevant person in charge of the Property Office of jiaozhou city Construction Bureau said that the reason for the sudden power outage in the residential area was that an important part of the 35kv transformer there was broken, and this part had to be purchased in Qingdao, resulting in a long power outage. In view of the losses caused by the power outage to the owners, the staff said that this authority has been entrusted to the Sanlihe Street Property Office.

In Sanlihe Street Property Office, a person in charge said that on the first day of power outage, jiaozhou city Property Office and Street Property Office had intervened and had been coordinating property, power supply, neighborhood committees and other departments, and had informed the police station to strengthen night patrol in the community. As for the losses caused by the power outage to the owners, the person in charge said that the property company should be responsible. If the property company refuses to pay compensation, the property office can mediate from it.
