Geomorphological landscape resources of Yanquan National Forest Park

① Huixian Peak.

Huixianfeng is the main peak of Yanquan Forest Park. From a distance, it looks like a lion with its head held high, also known as Lion Peak, with an altitude of1.355m and a relative height of1.000m. It stands among the peaks and goes straight into the sky. Xu Xiake, a great traveler and geographer in Ming Dynasty, made a detailed geographical investigation of it and its surrounding peaks in November of 1633. He recorded in Youjiang Diary: ... Huixian Mountain is named Yang Mi Cave, with Shaowu Jianning in the south, Taining in the southeast, Jianchang Guangchang in the southwest, which will be Xiannan Mountain and the place where Nanlong turns from north to east. From crossing the ridge to Huixian, it is very close, even how steep the four peaks are. ) Under the chaos, the water flows into a pool, and it is suspected that Jin Gui Hu is the water. (Four miles to the top of Huixian, the mountain in the east will come out, regardless of the flute music. From Huixian county to Nanfeng baili in the west and Jianning county in the southeast. On its side, there are several oblique fans in the southeast, which is a rare place in the mountains. )"

② Cape Peak and Mi You Cave.

Yang Maofeng, another peak of Yanquan, is far away. There is a thousand-year-old temple, Yang Mao Temple and Mi You Cave full of myths and legends on the summit. Mi You Cave is a granite cave. The entrance is about 6m square and10m deep. There is a circular "skylight" at the top of the cave, from which you can see trees, blue sky and white clouds. There is a small hole hanging in the cave, and the granite on the wall of the cave is weathered into rice grains, which are scattered on the pool in the center of the cave, overflowing layers of yellow oily floating objects, shining in the sun, shining and beautiful, making people linger. Legend has it that a fairy used magic to turn rolling stones into rice grains and flowing spring water into tea oil to help poor farmers. Therefore, the locals call this cave Youmi Cave. Later, the greedy rich man found that there was too little oil and rice flowing out, so he forced the hole wide and angered the mountain god. Since then, no oil and rice have flowed into the hole.

③ Immortal footprints

Climbing Yang You Peak, there is a boulder on the tree-lined path on the hillside. There is a "footprint" on the surface that is 20cm long, 7cm wide and1.5cm deep. It looks like footprints, and the traces of five toes are clearly discernible. It is said that when the fairy saw that the fairy cave he created for the poor farmers was used by the greedy rich, he was very angry, and when he came to stop it, he left it on a boulder on the hillside of Yang You Peak. Or a fairy passes by here to enjoy the beautiful scenery and stop to have a rest. The theory of immortals is a legend, but such a landscape cannot but make people daydream.

4 monks and nuns welcome guests.

Located in huixianfeng Scenic Area, on the winding and steep mountain road leading to huixianfeng, there is a group of stones, which look like monks and nuns standing together, face down, as if to welcome the guests who climb the mountain to worship in huixianfeng.

⑤ Turquoise Blue Moon

About 900 meters above huixianfeng, there are rocky cliffs, and the yellow pine swaying in the crevices between the cliffs is beautiful. In the sky, against the lush evergreen broad-leaved forest at the foot of the mountain, it is like a turquoise nine-day moon.

6 Xianfeng stone Buddha

There is a stone on the edge of the hiking trail about 300 meters below Huixian Temple, which has complete facial features and is lifelike. Legend has it that a pious pilgrim went to practice and knocked on the road step by step. The gods deeply felt his piety, turned it into a stone Buddha and stayed at the top of huixianfeng, which became a scene of Xianfeng today.
