Is the property responsible for the damage to the car in the underground garage?

Legal analysis: parking vehicles in the underground garage of the community is a fee-paying service, and the property should be responsible for the safety of vehicles during the garage. When the vehicle is abnormal or damaged, the property management company has the responsibility to inform the owner at the first time and provide corresponding information to help the owner find the perpetrator (usually monitoring video data). If the property management company cannot provide the corresponding information, it shall bear the corresponding management responsibilities.

Legal basis: Article 35 of the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Property Management, a property service enterprise shall provide corresponding services in accordance with the stipulations of the property service contract.

The realty service enterprise fails to perform the realty service contract, causing personal and property safety damage to the owner, and shall bear corresponding legal responsibilities according to law.
