Is it illegal to burn paper money in the corridor?

Legal analysis: not illegal. It is a violation of management regulations and ethics. Burning paper, lighting incense, setting off firecrackers and offering sacrifices to gods in public areas of residential buildings does not violate laws, regulations and policies, and is not mandatory. For the behavior in Article 2, relevant clauses can only be found in the owner management statute and property management regulations, which are not universal, harmful to the public and do not violate the law.

Legal basis: Article 10 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Public Security Administration Punishment Law can be divided into:

(1) warning;

(2) a fine;

(3) Administrative detention;

(4) Revoking the license issued by the public security organ.

Foreigners who violate the administration of public security may apply for another time limit to leave the country or be deported.
