Is the sewage treatment fee a water fee or a property fee?

Legal analysis: It depends. Generally belongs to the property management company. Units and individuals that use public water supply, sewage treatment fees are entrusted by the competent department of urban drainage to collect water fees from public water supply enterprises, and the payment amount of sewage treatment fees is separately listed in the invoice. According to the entrustment of the property management contract and relevant professional management departments, the property management enterprise is responsible for the following management matters:

(a) the use and management of houses and the maintenance and conservation of public parts of houses;

(two) the management and maintenance of roads, street lamps, parking lots (garages), water supply, power supply, gas supply, drainage, cable television, fire protection, security and other public facilities and equipment;

(three) to manage and maintain the city appearance, greening, environmental protection and sanitation of the community;

(four) to maintain community safety, public security, traffic and neighborhood order;

(five) collecting and remitting the rent, water, electricity, gas, communication, cable TV and other expenses, and handling the formalities of house decoration and water, electricity and gas capacity increase.

Article 4 The sewage treatment fee belongs to the non-tax revenue of the government, and shall be turned over to the local treasury in full, incorporated into the budget management of local government funds, and used for special purposes.

Article 5 All regions are encouraged to participate in the investment, construction and operation of urban drainage and sewage treatment facilities in various forms, such as cooperation between the government and social capital, and government purchasing services, so as to share risks reasonably, realize the integration of rights and interests, strengthen the project life cycle management, and improve the service quality and operational efficiency of urban drainage and sewage treatment.

Article 6 The collection, use and management of sewage treatment fees shall be subject to the supervision and inspection of the financial, price and auditing departments and the drainage and sewage treatment departments of higher cities.
