Is the household charging pile commercial?

After installation, it needs the acceptance of the power supply enterprise, and the owner also needs to go to the power supply enterprise to handle the electricity card separately. Charging piles can only be used after the acceptance of power supply enterprises.

In response to the call for energy conservation and emission reduction, Ms. Jiang of Changsha ordered a new energy vehicle last month, and the day of picking up the vehicle is coming soon. However, Ms. Jiang was puzzled by the installation of the charging pile.

Property charging piles need to be charged according to the commercial electricity fee per kWh, which is relatively expensive. This is a matter for the convenience and benefit of the people, but Ms. Jiang consulted her neighbors and learned that if charging piles are installed through the property, in addition to paying the fees for electricity meters and other related materials, the electricity fee is also charged according to commercial electricity standards.

At one time, electricity was three or four cents more expensive. In Ms. Jiang's view, it is not cost-effective, and it is obviously a family car. Why should we pay according to commercial electricity consumption? So she turned to the electric power department for help.

However, the staff of the electric power department told Ms. Jiang that they were only responsible for installing electric meters, and the wire problem from the second floor to the underground parking space needed to be solved by Ms. Jiang.

What puzzles Ms. Jiang is that since the property can use mains electricity and install charging piles next to the parking spaces, why not wire the meters applied by the power sector?

In this regard, the property company said that because Ms. Jiang's parking space is close to the commercial power equipment in the community, it is recommended that Ms. Jiang take the commercial power line. However, compared with residential electricity consumption, there is a difference of more than 30 cents per year, and the use cost considered by Ms. Jiang is indeed a problem.

However, when Ms. Jiang proposed that the residential property could be wired through the electricity meter installed by the power department, it was rejected by the property staff.

The staff said that for safety reasons, in principle, it is not desirable to install charging piles in underground parking garages, but due to the increasing demand of owners, they can only be met as needed.
