The courtyard is divided into three parts: the front part is the hall, the middle part is the main entrance, and the left and right ear doors (which cannot be sealed today). The left ear door is engraved with the words "zhengxiao" and the right ear door is engraved with "zhengxiong"; The foyer goes through the second door to the Intermediate People's Court, which is the main place in the middle. Crossing the threshold to the backyard, the courtyard is facing the back of the building. On the lintel, a plaque of "Filial Piety" was engraved, which was erected in the twenty-seventh year of Daoguang reign of Xuanzong in Qing Dynasty (1847) and inscribed with the words "Yan's wife".

In addition, there are two courtyards around this courtyard, 13 and No. 15, which enters from two small doors on the left and right of the hall, is also a part of Shi Jia courtyard.
