The main training direction of safety engineering specialty in Fuzhou University

This major trains compound senior engineering and technical personnel who can engage in safety technology and engineering, safety science and research, safety supervision and management, health and safety environment detection and monitoring, safety design and production, safety education and training. Students study basic courses and professional basic courses such as humanities and social sciences, mathematics, physics and chemistry, English, computer and engineering one and a half years before entering school. In the last two and a half years, I have mainly studied the professional knowledge and practice of disaster prevention technology and engineering, ventilation, purification and air conditioning, safety monitoring and control, safety supervision and management, insurance and risk assessment, and safety system engineering in factories, properties, transportation, mines and underground buildings, commercial buildings and ground buildings. Graduates can engage in technical and management work in government safety management and supervision institutions at all levels, industrial enterprises, fire protection, insurance, transportation, property, architecture, design institutes and other departments, and can also engage in teaching and scientific research work in universities and scientific research units. This major is the only undergraduate major in safety engineering in our province at present, and the employment rate of graduates ranks in the forefront of the whole school, requiring no color blindness.
