Treatment of water pipe rupture

1 First, turn off the tap water valve and carefully observe the water leakage point to see what causes the rupture.

2. Observe the severity of rupture. If there is only one crack and water overflows from it, go directly to the hardware store and buy a bottle of glue to repair the broken water pipe. Be sure to use professional glue, otherwise it will pollute the water quality.

3. If the crack in the rupture is too big to be repaired with glue, measure the diameter of the water pipe, go to the hardware store to buy a joint covering both ends, cut off the leaking water pipe and stick it with glue.

4. If it is found that there are obvious cracks in the plastic water pipe and the damaged water pipe breaks as a whole, there is no need for local maintenance. Unless you have professional maintenance skills to handle it yourself, you can only find a professional plumber to repair it.

5. If you find that the water pipe is broken and spraying water, don't panic at this moment, immediately close the tap water valve at home, clean up the accumulated water near the electrical appliance or socket in time to prevent electric shock or damage to the electrical appliance, and then find maintenance personnel to deal with it.
