At present, rural areas in China are developing rapidly. What do you think are the most potential cities and towns?

Personally, I think that in the past 30 years of reform and opening-up, rural areas in China have really developed very rapidly. The per capita GDP of some rural areas has surpassed that of urban residents, and their lives are very, very rich. Almost every family has a small building and a car, and their living standards, education and living standards are much better than those of urban residents.

Take Huaxi Village, the most famous village in Jiangsu, as an example. It is really the first village in the country. Each of them earns more than 50,000 yuan a month, and everyone has shares in the village enterprises that receive dividends every year, so the rural life now is really gone forever, which is what we imagined.

If I have to evaluate which towns have the greatest potential, I think it should be in the Pearl River Delta or the Yangtze River Delta or some coastal towns. Take Wuzhen, Jiangsu as an example. It is the most famous tourist town in China with tourism as its development prospect, and its annual tourism consumption and income can almost catch up with that of a medium-sized city. I believe this situation will not change in the next ten years, and small towns like Wuzhen will continue to develop.

Look at the towns along the southeast coast. We used to call them small fishing villages. Now they have begun to slowly transform from light industry to science and technology industry, and gradually become the leader of the country and countryside. So I think the towns along the southeast coast have more development potential in the next decade.

Because they do have unique development conditions, their own natural ports and talents, and they can get strong support from the government. Such favorable climate and favorable people are of course the best natural conditions for their economic take-off. Under this development trend, there will be no difference between urban people and rural people, and the process of urban-rural integration will be completed faster.
