The Catholic Museum is located behind the St. Paul archway, and 1996 and 10 are open to the public. The museum was built on the site of St. Paul's church, which was burned down hundreds of years ago. The existing St. Paul archway is the main entrance of St. Paul's church. The exhibition room of the museum displays many religious works of art in the basement, showing Macao's rich missionary history. There are pictures, sculptures and ceremonial decorations in the collection. These representative exhibits are carefully selected from the collections of all temples in Macao. They are all works from16th century to19th century, belonging to the local church and donated by the church to the museum. There is a rectangular glass showcase in the museum, which divides the exhibition hall into two parts: inside and outside. People can enjoy the exhibits along two routes. Inside the exhibition hall, it is worth mentioning: a rare17th century Indo-Portuguese work, a great wooden sacred Meiere; A wooden statue of the Virgin Mary in the17th century, with no original sin and a pure face; A small ivory sculpture, Saint John the Baptist, the patron saint of Macao, and Antonio, the guardian of the First Church of Macao. In addition, there are some large statues and oil paintings. Next door to the museum is the tomb, which was built on the site of the main church of Notre Dame College, and contains the remains of Japanese and Vietnamese martyrs to show their respect. Renzitang building

Benevolence Hall, a masonry building located in front of the Pavilion of the Macao Special Administrative Region, is the property of the charity Benevolence Hall of Macao. In 2005, a part of the historic city of Macau was included in the World Cultural Heritage List. Rentang Building is the office of the notary office of Macao government department, and Rentang Museum is on the second floor. In the past, Renci Church provided help to the old residents of Macao. For the old residents who were dominated by temple fair culture at that time, Renci Hall was also called Fu Liang Hall. Its meeting place-the white outer wall of Renzitang Building, presents a simple and quiet feeling, which coincides with its charitable image, just like angels in white in a white robe. Unexpectedly, Kindness Hall has a close relationship with Macau's leading industry, the gaming industry. It turned out that Macau was the earliest place in China where Chinese and Western lottery tickets were officially sold, and the first batch of charity lottery tickets were issued by Renci Hall. To visit the Renci Hall building, please enter from its right lane and go straight to the museum on the second floor. You can visit the full-length statue, skull and cross buried with the coffin of Ghianni Road, the founder of Kindness Hall. There is a bronze bell against the wall, which is used by Baimahang Hospital. This hospital is the first western hospital built by Cihangtang in Macau and China. On the other side of the wall, we can also see the sacrificial objects of the Catholic Church, such as the statue of the Virgin carved in ivory in18th century, which are unique and precious cultural relics. At present, Renzitang Right Lane has become a place for many tourists to take photos as a souvenir, especially at night, the lights hanging on the wall of the lane are bright, attracting tourists' attention. At the end of the alley, there is a squatting bust bronze statue, which is the statue of Bishop Jenny Road, the founder of Kindness Hall just mentioned.

Macao Museum

The Macao Museum is located on the platform of the cannon, which is the most suitable location, because the Portuguese first settled there, which is the heart of the city. Overlooking the inner harbor, Dapaotai Mountain was chosen by Jesuits, who built forts, seminaries and churches there, commonly known as the "Big March 8th". It took nine years to build this great fortress, which started in 16 17 and was completed in 1626 and 1835. In a typhoon, most buildings and churches in the seminary and Dabao were destroyed by fire, and only the front wall of the church (commonly known as the archway) survived. Over time, the site in the fence has become the station of the Meteorological Observatory, and it has also become a park frequented by citizens and tourists. It is also often used to hold outdoor celebrations, and the opera programs of the Macao Music Festival have also been performed here. The preparatory work for the Macao Museum officially started in April 1995, and the big battery became a museum. The museum project was also started on1September 1996, and was completed and put into use on1April 1998 18. The construction project of the museum consists of two parts: the museum exhibition building located in Dapaotai and the museum administration building located in Beishan, with a total area of 2,800 square meters and an actual exhibition area of about 265,438,000 square meters, showing an irregular quadrangle. All the ancient city walls have been restored, the cannons have taken on a new look, the original entrance has been reopened, and teahouses and shops have been opened near the entrance. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Macao and its outlying islands from the battery. In the past, visitors had to cross the yard and long stone steps to reach the gate of the castle. Due to the excavation work during the construction of the museum, today's tourists can use the electric ladder to enter the fortress from another entrance. In the courtyard in front of the museum, there is an open-air teahouse for tourists to enjoy, a shop selling books and souvenirs, and the museum displays plaster replicas of works of art made by local artist Jin Tan.
