HXD3 locomotive of HXD3 electric locomotive

In June, 2004, the Ministry of Railways invited tenders for "Procurement and Technology Import Project of High Power AC Drive Electric Locomotive". In the same year1October 27th, 10, the Ministry of Railways signed a contract with Dalian Locomotive to order 60 new locomotives, with the experimental SSJ3-000 1 and EH500 used by Japan Freight Railway as the technical platform [6]. Among them, the first four vehicles (3000 1-30004) were imported, and 12 vehicles (30005-300 16) were imported for assembly. Toshiba provides original components, including traction motors, which are assembled by Dalian locomotive. After that, Dalian Locomotive Works manufactured 44 vehicles through technology transfer and "localization" [7]. The new car adopts TT-78 bogie and 4500V/900 A IEGT traction converter [8] provided by Toshiba. The single machine power is 7200 kilowatts. Network control technology can realize locomotive reconnection, and microcomputer control technology can realize real-time monitoring and fault alarm.

The first locomotive was manufactured in 2006 with the number DJ3-000 1. [9] The first domestic locomotive was delivered on February 8, 2006. [10] Dalian Locomotive began to deliver the first batch of 44 locomotives with the number of 300 17 as "localized" vehicles, using domestic asynchronous traction motors and other components, which means that the localization rate exceeds 80%. The first locomotive was renamed "Shenlong1"(SL1) when it left the factory. Soon after, the Ministry of Railways renamed the domestic high-power locomotive manufactured by imported technology as "Harmony", and the original Shenlong 1 was also renamed as "Harmony", and the number was changed to HXD3xxxx.

In 2006, the Ministry of Railways ordered an additional 180 HXD3 locomotives, increasing the total number to 240 [10], some of which were manufactured with the assistance of Beijing Erqi Locomotive Works. The first locomotive of this type (No.HXD3006 1) was manufactured by Erqi Locomotive Works and delivered on February 28th, 2006. [The production of these 180 locomotives was completed in April 2008.

On February 8, 2008, the Ministry of Railways purchased 400 sets of HXD3(HXD 3024 1-HXD 30640) from Dalian Locomotive, with a total value of nearly 6 billion yuan [12]. Delivery began in August of the same year. The 500th HXD3 locomotive was completed in April 2009 [13]. All these locomotives were delivered in 2009. Because Dalian locomotive has to deal with the development and production of HXN3 diesel locomotive and HXD3B electric locomotive at the same time, the production capacity is tight, and the production task of Datong electric locomotive HXD2 electric locomotive was completed in June 5438+February 65438+May 2008, so part of the production task of HXD3 locomotive will be handed over to Datong factory. The first HXD3 locomotive (HXD 3800 1) produced by Datong Factory was put into production at the end of July 2009.
