Brief introduction of Guanghua first-class highway

The highway starts from the intersection of Huangshi Road in Guangzhou and ends at the intersection of Xinhua Town in Huadu District, with a total length of 20 kilometers (including 386 meters of Jiangcun Bridge and 5 10 meters of Xinya Bridge), six lanes in both directions, cement pavement, 26 meters wide and 60 meters of land acquisition. This investment project was approved by Guangdong Provincial Planning Commission [1994] No.565. At the initial stage of highway preparation, due to the difficulty in raising funds, especially the Baiyun District government, which had participated in the investment, withdrew its shares because of the difficulty in lending money to the bank, Guangzhou Highway Bureau decided to introduce foreign capital to build Guanghua Highway (the foreign investor was Qiu Guan Company, accounting for 55% of the total investment, and Guangzhou Highway Development Company accounted for 45%). Guangzhou Planning Commission approved the project to use foreign capital in document Sui Jineng [1996]2 1, and Guangzhou Foreign Economic and Trade Commission approved the project to use foreign capital in document Sui Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation No.2001. (1997) No.210 approved the establishment of Sino-foreign cooperative Guangxin Highway Development Co., Ltd. to build this project, which was completed in 197. With the approval of Guangdong Provincial Price Bureau (Guangdong Price (1997) No.234), Guanghua Toll Station was set up in the south of Jiangcun Bridge, and the two-way toll collection began on June 9, with a charging period of 30 years.
