When will Changhua Road be widened?

Changhua Road will be widened in 2020. Yichang Road Widening Project was started by Putuo District Construction Management Committee on 20 19, and submitted to Putuo District Development and Reform Commission for approval in 2020. According to the plan, Yichang Road starts from Suzhou River in the west and reaches Changhua Road in the east, with a total length of about 1.6km, and the lane is set to 2 fast and 2 slow, which is an important branch road for residents to travel in the service area. However, the width of the existing carriageway in Yichang Road is seven or eight meters, and the width of sidewalks in some sections is insufficient, so it is difficult to ensure the functional requirements of traffic safety and comfort. In order to improve the road service level, it is necessary to implement the widening project. According to the plan, the riverside besieged city section belongs to the section from Zhenping Road to Changhua Road of Yichang Road, with a planned width of 20 meters, including roadway 14 meter and sidewalks on both sides with a width of 3 meters. Since then, with the entry of Yichang Road overhead line and the promotion of pole-receiving reconstruction project, the above widening project should be implemented as a supporting project.
