Everything seems real and unreal, and everything is like a fairy.

The biggest regret at that time was that I didn't bring my camera. However, the cruel reality that night told me that the most important thing to bring is thermal underwear. The high temperature of 40 degrees during the day can be reduced to below 10 degrees at night.

It was one day in July 2006, and I first came to the desert in Xinjiang.

Meet again

Since I came back from Xinjiang, I have always dreamed of going to Xinjiang again one day and feeling the magical beauty again.

The opportunity has finally come. 20 1 1, and participated in some projects in Kashgar, Xinjiang. Therefore, I often travel to and from Kashgar. But Xinjiang at this time is just a beautiful and mysterious place for me.

At that time, I never thought about staying here for a long time, let alone taking root here.

If it weren't for the accident at that time, I think my fate with Xinjiang would have been broken long ago.

However, there seems to be a magical power that finally left me in Xinjiang.

So, at the beginning of 20 15, I came to Kashgar and stayed in Kashgar all the year round.

A touch that shakes the soul

In order to solve the problems encountered in the project as soon as possible, in 20 15 years, all our partners have traveled all over the regimental level in 5 prefectures and 44 counties and cities in southern Xinjiang, and made friends with more than 500 ethnic compatriots such as Uygur, Han, Kirgiz and Kazak.

In the process of in-depth contact, we deeply felt the simplicity and kindness of the people in southern Xinjiang.

Every time we send leaflets to the countryside, the villagers will warmly entertain us with fruits such as watermelons and melons, and they will be forced to stay at home for dinner when they meet meals.

When we get lost, because of the language barrier, people will ride electric cars to take us to destinations several kilometers or even ten kilometers away.

When you are going on a business trip and there is no car, just wave at the roadside and the passing car will stop to pick us up.

The simplicity and integrity of the folk customs in southern Xinjiang are beyond my imagination. I once saw the person in charge of a project throw 2 million cash in the back seat of a car and left. The car is parked on the side of the road, and the window is completely transparent. A few hours later, the owner returned, and the car and money were safe and sound.

Such a thing is normal for people living in southern Xinjiang. In southern Xinjiang, it is rare to hear that someone has lost something. Even if something is occasionally forgotten somewhere, it can be found in most cases.

However, it is not these that move me the most.

One day in June 20 15, we went to shache from Hotan. At night, the car broke down more than 0/2 o'clock in shache 100 kilometers away. At that time, there was no village in front and no village behind, except the vast Gobi desert, which was endless darkness.

Half an hour later, the car lights came in the distance. We immediately turned on the flashlight of the mobile phone and stood in the middle of the road to stop the car. After the car stopped, two Uyghur Adaxi (friends) got off. When they knew the situation, the two Adaxi towed the car for us without saying anything, which lasted for more than five hours.

At six o'clock in the morning, we finally arrived at the garage, and the two Adaxi were even more exhausted. However, when we wanted to express our gratitude, they firmly refused. I was deeply moved by what they said at that time. "Friend, I believe that you will help us when we are in trouble!" "

A simple sentence hit my heart and shocked me. I thought at that time that if I had the opportunity, I must do something meaningful and helpful to the local people.

The pain that goes straight to the soul

For us, every time we visit the villagers' homes, it is not only the touch of the soul, but also the pain of the soul.

I was touched that the villagers served us the best food at home.

Sadly, the hardships and poverty of the villagers' lives are unimaginable.

One day in April 20 15, I visited the villagers' home for the first time. When we walked along the uneven road, stepping on the "grey waves" to "Abu Dhabi Hot Wood? At home, I couldn't believe what I saw-the low adobe house, the mottled adobe wall, the sheepfold next to the house, the red dates piled in the open air and the firewood stove on the outer wall.

When I entered the house, there was no other furniture except the heatable adobe sleeping platform. All the appliances in the house used to be three rooms and three incandescent bulbs.

At first, I thought, "Abdul Kerem? The Ablizi family belongs to a case. But with the increase of contact, I found that the situation in each villager's home is similar. Of course, individual "wealthy" villagers will have one more electrical appliance-radio.

Every time I go to a villager's house, I feel extremely uncomfortable when I see a mountain of melons and fruits on one side and a poor family on the other.

Especially when villagers have to feed cattle and sheep with these high-quality and delicious fruits because there is no market, the inner pain is even more unspeakable, which is a kind of pain that goes straight to the soul.

At the end of 20 15, our project came to an end. According to the original plan, we should go back and forth from where we came from. However, several of our partners stayed in unison, not for anything else, but to do something meaningful, valuable and worthy of pride all their lives.
