There are mice in the house that dare not sleep.

The radical method is to plug the loopholes.

Last year, I rented a house in the suburbs, and I mainly went to work by subway. It's almost ten o'clock when I go out to work normally, just missing the morning rush hour.

There is a shopping mall next to the subway station and an open space in front. There is no marking plan for parking non-motor vehicles in this open space, but with the increasing number of bicycles, many cars have no place to park and are forced to park in this open space. If you want to get into the subway or shopping mall, you must first cross this ocean of enjoying bicycles.

It is definitely not possible to park illegally like this. The mall posted a no parking sign on the open space, but it didn't work. There is really no place to park on the roadside, and working hours are against time. Few people want to park their cars far from the subway station. No parking signs stand in a pile of bicycles and have little effect.

The mall found that this warning didn't work, so it arranged for two security guards to watch it. For the next period of time, I can see two security guards moving the car at work. Drag the bike out of the field and throw it to the side of the road. Really threw it away, and obviously with anger. If we don't stop here, we'll stop here. There are so many people. Parking and locking the car is almost an instant thing, and it is impossible to control it. I have to drag the cars out one by one for work.

Later, I saw the staff of the bicycle company appear, sometimes moving the car with the security guard, sometimes picking up the car left on the side of the road, and then loading it and pulling it away. This operation lasted for at least a few months, and the number of bicycles at the subway entrance was obviously reduced, and there were fewer cars parked illegally in the open space of the shopping mall, but it was not eliminated.

Finally, the mall couldn't bear it, and finally made a vicious move-a fence was installed around the open space, leaving only two entrances and exits, and stone balls were placed. At this point, there are no more illegal bicycles on the open space. Greening, sidewalks, and non-motor vehicle lanes outside the fence will stop illegally every day, but this will not affect the shopping mall. In this way, a big battle between shopping malls and illegal bicycles ended in the victory of shopping malls.

Under the problem of killing rats, it seems irrelevant to write about the crackdown on illegal bicycles in shopping malls, but if shopping malls are compared to families, illegal bicycles are compared to rats. If families want to completely eliminate rats, they can refer to the method of completely eliminating illegal bicycles in shopping malls.

Conventional methods of killing rats at home are just like putting up no parking signs in shopping malls and arranging security guards to be on duty, which can treat the symptoms rather than the root causes. Blocking the hole so that rats can't get in is to "fence" and solve the problem from the source.

A fence directly keeps illegal bicycles out of the circle. No matter how much parking pressure there is outside, as long as the mall guards the entrance and exit, the circle will be quiet. By the same token, no matter how bad your living environment is, as long as you fix the fence and leave no holes at home, even if there are more rats outside, it will not have a direct impact on you.

Some people will ask: I have lived here for many years, and I have never blocked a hole or seen a mouse. Rats have suddenly appeared recently. Does this have anything to do with whether the hole is blocked or not? This question can also be answered by the case of cracking down on illegal bicycles in shopping malls. The open space in front of the shopping mall has always existed. There was no bicycle before, and the planned parking position on the roadside was not tense, so there was no violation. Nowadays, the more bicycles there are, the more parking spaces are tight, and a freely accessible open space is in front of us. Illegal parking is inevitable. The same is true of mice at home. There were no holes or rats before, because there were few rats in the surrounding environment, or there was no reason to stimulate rats to enter the room.

At this point, we can directly find the answer to the illegal riding problem through observation, but we can't detect the answer to the mouse problem.

Others will ask, is it because there are too many things to eat and daily necessities at home? Don't! This is because there is a hole in the house that is not blocked. Think back, when there were mice in your house, did the mice steal food in the refrigerator? I don't think so (unless you left the refrigerator door open). According to the way of thinking, there will be mice if you eat too much. When there are mice at home, the refrigerator must be the hardest hit. So, why don't mice eat the food in the refrigerator? The reason is obvious, that's because rats can't get in. Similarly, if the house is sealed like a refrigerator, no matter how many rats there are outside, it can't eat the food in the house. And when I catch mice for the bank, there is no food in the room where the ATM machine is installed, and the mice will still go in and even make nests in the machine.

Of course, eating more daily necessities at home can really provide a comfortable living environment for mice, but it is certainly not the direct reason why mice enter the room.

Is there no other way to completely eliminate the rats in the house except blocking the hole?

Sure, but it's hard to do.

There are mice at home because there are creatures like mice in the big environment where we live. If the small environment of the family is not closed, mice can get in. There are mice in the big environment and the small environment is not airtight, which are two necessary conditions for being a mouse at home. Since we don't want to change the airtight condition of the small environment, only by changing the condition that there are mice in the big environment can we have no mice at home.

Why is there no Jade Rabbit at home? That's because Yutu lives on the moon, and there is nothing on the earth. In order to make your home free of mice, it is impossible to make the earth free of mice. You can try to make your residential area free of rats (or control it in a low density state). However, the workload, difficulty and cost of rodent control in public areas of residential areas are definitely different from those of their own rodent control. How many people are willing to be so selfless?

Give the rodent control work in the community to the property or community. Considering that killing rats at home is the most practical, we should block the hole, haha.
