Benxi is a dumbbell-shaped distribution with mountainous territory, and its natural landform is "eight mountains, one water and half fields, half roads and half manors". Benxi is located in the southeast of Liaoning Province, with a total area of 84 1 1.3 square kilometers. It borders Shenyang and Fushun in the north (77km from Shenyang and 79km from Fushun), Dandong (Dandong198km) in the south, Liaoyang (46km from Liaoyang) and Anshan in the west, and Jilin (Tonghua 65438+) in the east. 2. Climate characteristics

Nanfen open-pit iron mine has the characteristics of low phosphorus, low sulfur and low impurities, and the iron extracted from this iron mine is known as "ginseng iron". There are more than 200 rivers in Benxi, including 27 rivers, with a drainage area of 100 square kilometers, including three major water systems: Taizi River, Hunjiang River and Caohe River.
