After more than three years of intense construction, Dashan Expressway (Dazhou-Puguang section), another important passage from Sichuan to the north, was completed and opened to traffic at 20 1 1, 3 1 of Weixin Interchange on Dawan-Dashan Expressway. Dashan Expressway is an important section of the national expressway network from Baotou to Maoming. It starts from Xujiaba in northern Dazhou, passes through Xuanhan, Puguang, Xinhua, Baisha and Wanyuan, and ends at the junction of Sichuan and Shaanxi in Dabashan Tunnel. Total length 143 km, two-way four lanes, design speed of 80 km/h, total investment of nearly 105 billion yuan. The Dazhou-Puguang section, which is currently open to traffic, is 33 kilometers long. Following the opening of Guangshan Expressway in May last year, the second important northbound expressway in Sichuan Province, Dashan Expressway, was completed and opened to traffic at 0: 00 on April 13.
