Imperial Palace
Most visitors to Beijing, especially those who come to Beijing for the first time, will regard the Forbidden City as a must. The Forbidden City, also known as the Forbidden City, is the palace of 24 emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasties and a symbol of ancient China. The long history has left a lot of precious buildings and countless cultural relics here, and it has also become the main attraction to visit the Forbidden City today.
The Forbidden City is the most complete and largest ancient wooden structure complex in China and even in the world, and is known as the first of the five largest palaces in the world (the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in Britain, the White House in the United States and the Russian Kremlin). According to its layout and function, its building is divided into two parts: "outer courtyard" and "inner courtyard". It is bounded by Gan Qing Gate, with the outer court to the south of Gan Qing Gate and the inner court to the north. The architectural atmosphere of the two parts is very different. The outer dynasty, also known as the "former dynasty", centered on the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Zhonghe and the Hall of Baohe, was the place where feudal emperors exercised their power and held ceremonies. Especially the Hall of Supreme Harmony, which is often called "Golden Hall" in film and television dramas, is the absolute center of the whole palace and should not be missed. The palaces centered on Gan Qing Palace, Jiaotai Palace, Kunning Palace, and the six palaces on the east and west sides are the residences of feudal emperors and empresses, also known as "three palaces and six courtyards". The courtyard is deep, the building is compact, self-contained and orderly.
There are a large number of precious cultural relics in the Forbidden City. According to statistics, there are millions of them, accounting for one sixth of the total number of cultural relics in China. According to the different types of cultural relics, it is divided into several exhibition halls, such as comprehensive history museum, painting museum, ceramic museum, bronze museum, Ming and Qing arts and crafts museum, seal cutting museum, toy museum, Four Treasures of the Study museum, plaything museum, etc., as well as the exhibition of cultural relics in the Qing Dynasty.
The climate is comfortable in spring, so it is a good choice to look at ancient buildings and enjoy flowers near the Forbidden City.

Tiantan Park
Tiantan Park, the largest existing ancient sacrificial complex in China, has been listed as a "World Cultural Heritage". The Temple of Heaven was built in the 18th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1420), where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties offered sacrifices to their emperors and prayed for a bumper harvest. The Temple of Heaven is the general name of the two altars, the ball altar and the Gucci altar. It has double altars and walls, forming an inner altar and an outer altar. The main building is in the inner altar, with the ball altar in the south and the valley prayer altar in the north, which are on the same north-south axis. The main buildings of the ball arena include the ball arena, the Imperial Palace, etc. The main buildings of the Valley Altar include the Hall of Praying for the Year, the Palace and the Gate of Praying for the Year. The famous Hall of Prayer for the New Year is in the northernmost part, which is the most magnificent building in the Temple of Heaven and the closest place to the sky in imagination.
The architecture of the Temple of Heaven not only has a unique artistic style, but also some buildings skillfully use the principles of mechanics, acoustics and geometry, so it has high value. The Temple of Heaven is famous for its rigorous architectural layout, peculiar architectural structure and magnificent architectural decoration. The total area is about 2.7 million square meters. Visiting the Temple of Heaven, in addition to enjoying the exquisite architecture of each hall and pursuing the grand scene of ancient emperors offering sacrifices to heaven, the unique designs such as echo walls and three-tone stones are also amazing for the wisdom of the ancients.
Located in the west annex of the Hall of Prayer for Good Years, this paper introduces in detail the evolution of China's ritual of offering sacrifices to heaven, focusing on the etiquette of offering sacrifices to heaven in Qing Dynasty, including all kinds of rituals and procedures, among which "The Picture of the Marinated Book in the 13th Year of Qing Qianlong" shows the highest etiquette style of the royal family in China for the first time, which is particularly wonderful and should not be missed.
