Huiyang District Vocational and Technical School (formerly Huiyang District Vocational High School) is the only public secondary vocational and technical school in Huiyang District, and it is a new vocational and technical school guided by a brand-new school-running concept. The school is located in Baiyun Pit, Hutu Lake, Danshui, Huiyang, on the edge of "China Shipping Shell Petrochemical City" and adjacent to Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. The school covers an area of 58,000 square meters with a building area of 27,000 square meters. Approved by the Education Department of Guangdong Province in August 2004, it was included in the first batch of key demonstration secondary vocational schools in Guangdong Province, and it is one of the key construction schools of Huiyang District Government. In April 2007, with the approval of Huizhou Education Bureau, Huizhou Petrochemical Vocational and Technical School was added to the school, and two brands and one set of personnel management were implemented. In 2008, Huiyang District Government invested funds to complete the relocation project of the school and became a brand-new secondary vocational school.
