There are three purposes in writing this diary:

First, record the bits and pieces of the decoration process, and you will remember the bitter experience when you open it later;

We bought this house in early March. At that time, we felt that signing this clause and signing that clause was just like signing a deed of sale. At the time of acceptance, it was a completely blank room, and even the balcony windows were not installed. This suite is a 1 bathroom board building with 2 rooms and 2 halls. Both the master bedroom and the living room face south, but I always feel that direction faces north. Through the process of house inspection and decoration, we summarized the advantages and disadvantages of this house, as follows. Several advantages:

(1) low-density building with elevator on the 5th floor;

(2) North-South transparent banlou;

(3) There are large windows in the living room and floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom;

(4) The overall pattern is good, and there is no place to beat around the bush;

(5) The pool is small, with a construction area of 94 square meters and a usable area of more than 80 square meters.

There are several main disadvantages:

(1) Although we live in the same building, our home is on the first floor.

(2) The pipeline design is not reasonable and humanized. For example, the layout of kitchen pipes is too complicated, and after the cabinets are finished, they must be wrapped with multiple risers, which seriously affects the appearance;

(3) The security door is inferior and opens inside;

(4) Some entrance doors are facing the bathroom;

(5) The kitchen is too small, and it needs overall renovation;

(6) Anti-theft guardrail cannot be installed;

(7) The gas water heater cannot be used unless the exhaust pipe is drilled out of the double window;

(8) The elevator is too close to the entrance door, about 50 cm;

(9) Property management companies are very general.

Secondly, both of them say theory. It is said that the decoration can be peeled off, because it is really hard, but how can it gain a few pounds after tossing for a long time? Not afraid of being tired, just afraid of being tired. The decoration of this house didn't bother me very much. Everything is basically under control. In fact, nothing is beyond my control, so I'm not really worried. How can I not be fat if I have food, drink and rest? It is said that decoration is a regrettable project, and there are always unsatisfactory places. Facts have proved that if you don't do it yourself, you can always find faults. While we are trying to reduce the probability of regret, the ups and downs are between the lines, and I hope to share them with you. Two colleagues in the unit gave us great support. Thank them first. The pictures in this paper are all taken by card machine, and the viewing angle is too small. Let's take a look together. The final renderings will be shot by a SLR. I don't usually like to recite, it's too heavy.

2 Pre-preparation stage

Set the tone of style, know yourself and know yourself, and fight every battle. When it comes to the determination of style, the ass feels that it is really a work of accumulation. First of all, I have a preliminary understanding of the current mainstream style, and then I choose it by exclusion. The following is my understanding of several styles.

(1) Modern minimalist style: mainly straight lines, mostly combined furniture. My husband and I agree that living in a modern and minimalist home is like living in an renderings. Click and shoot.

(2) Neoclassical luxury style: black, gold and crimson are the main styles, and crystal lamps, curtains and jacquard velvet are mostly used. It stinks, and I feel that this style is a bit too cold, and there is no sense of life. I have to shoot it.

(3) Pastoral style: soft colors, multi-purpose floral fabrics, very life-oriented. However, we feel that the pastoral style has been ruined by Japan and South Korea, too petty, too pink, too fake and untrue, and it has been stifled.

(4) Anglo-American country style: mainly white and warm colors, simple and rough, mainly cotton, linen and woolen goods, and more stones and logs are used. I like it myself, but it's really difficult to make architecture, decoration and decoration pure in China. First of all, this style is more suitable for villas, and the courtyard is used to match the interior to show the harmony between life and nature. Secondly, we have limited funds, so shoot.

(5) Chinese classical style: Although I have a certain inheritance and love for traditional culture, this style is really not suitable for young people. As this is the first suite, it is positioned as an experimental field. We can play around at will, just choose an exotic one. Besides, we don't like the strong classical accent of China, so take it off.

(6) Mediterranean style: There are two kinds of Mediterranean styles, one is the blue and white tone of santorini, and the other is the yellow earth tone of Spain. With feelings and money in hand, we chose the former. The latter was killed because we were unable to lay the foundation with a lot of solid wood furniture and decoration, which was still too strong for a small house. Because we all like the feeling of the ocean and the breath of life, we finally decided to choose santorini's blue and white Mediterranean style.

In fact, there is a very accidental factor in finally determining the Mediterranean style. We paid attention to the decoration before we closed the house. One day after dinner, we watched the communication space of CCTV 2, in which an episode introduced the designer's works. That set is blue and white Mediterranean style, which makes us shine at the moment and lays the foundation for choosing Mediterranean style later. Ideal and reality are indispensable. Sometimes the reality is very helpless. I have never been to santorini, and the pure picture information is very limited. It probably means slightly rough white walls, dark log furniture, wrought iron decoration and complicated shapes. More importantly, we should invest a lot of money. Later, I made the following decision: dining room, living room, kitchen-Santorini blue and white Mediterranean style bedroom-European warm court style. What needs to be pointed out here is that we have not considered the content of the study for the time being. First, it is of little use at present, and second, the content is simple, with only bookcases, desks and sofabeds. The key point is that we can't decide whether to choose dark or light colors for these furniture for the time being, and we plan to decide next.

Before the renovation of the whole house, we made a preliminary budget, excluding the bookcases and desks in the study, which included everything in the house, from wall paint to mattresses. Later, all our purchases were based on the principle of1.2000 yuan, but who would have thought that the later "Watergate Running" incident increased our budget by 6000 yuan in vain. Later, because the furniture customized online was unreliable, the furniture in the neighboring village was re-selected, which was 7000 yuan more than the budget, so the total budget became more than1.3000 yuan.
