Fine standards for garbage classification:

1. If the unit fails to put the domestic garbage into the corresponding collection containers respectively, the urban management law enforcement department shall order it to correct it immediately; Refuses to correct, a fine of five thousand yuan and fifty thousand yuan;

2, individuals will harmful waste and recyclables, wet garbage, dry garbage mixed delivery, or wet garbage and recyclables, dry garbage mixed delivery, urban management law enforcement departments should be ordered to immediately correct; Refuses to correct, at more than fifty yuan to two hundred yuan fine. The amount of punishment mainly depends on the number of violations, illegal circumstances and consequences;

3. The illegal identification of garbage classification is mainly based on on-site transcripts, video materials and forensic photos, such as videos of monitoring probes installed in garbage houses and units, photos, videos or testimonies taken by residents, volunteers and property, which can be used as evidence sources.

Legal basis: Article 24 of the Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on the Administration of Domestic Waste.

Units and individuals that produce domestic garbage are responsible for the classified delivery of domestic garbage, and shall respectively deliver domestic garbage into corresponding collection containers. Among them, recyclables can also be sold to recyclables recycling service points or other recyclables recycling operators. The city will gradually implement the system of regular fixed-point classified delivery of domestic garbage.

Article 57

Units in violation of the provisions of the twenty-fourth paragraph of this Ordinance, did not put the domestic garbage into the corresponding collection container, the urban management law enforcement department shall order it to correct immediately; Refuses to correct, a fine of five thousand yuan and fifty thousand yuan. Individuals who, in violation of the provisions of the first paragraph of Article 24 of these regulations, mix harmful waste with recyclables, wet garbage and dry garbage, or mix wet garbage with recyclables and dry garbage, shall be ordered by the urban management law enforcement department to make immediate corrections; Refuses to correct, at more than fifty yuan to two hundred yuan fine.
