Why was Chang 'an changed to Xi 'an?

This ancient city has gone through many dynasties and changed its name several times. If we want to say that the first dynasty established Du 'an, it can be traced back to Zhou. At that time, Zhou Wenwang was called Anfengjing, and it was renamed Haojing after the King of Wu reached the summit. Most people directly call it fenghao. It was Liu Bang, Emperor Gaozu, who really renamed the city Chang 'an, and built Changle Palace on the basis of Epang Palace in the Qin Dynasty. He also prayed for the country's long-term stability, and Chang 'an began his glorious road, especially in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. As the most powerful country in the world at that time, Chang 'an enjoyed the glory of all nations coming to Korea and the reputation of the world center. The rise of a dynasty is bound to decline. The more glorious the capital is, the more it can't escape the baptism of war. After the establishment of the Yuan Dynasty, due to the different habits of northerners, Yanjing, now the capital, was rebuilt. Because of the restoration of the Forbidden City and the protection of future generations on this basis, Chang 'an was gradually forgotten in the eyes of the world. When guarding Chang 'an, he changed his name to Anxi, hoping to settle the west and enjoy prosperity. It was not until the rebellion of King Anxi was withdrawn that it was renamed Fengyuan Road.

It was not until Zhu Yuanzhang ruled the country in the Ming Dynasty that Fengyuan Road was renamed Xi 'an again. This word continues to this day, although it is also based in Beijing. Although the meaning of this name is only one word different from that of Anxi in Yuan Dynasty, the meaning is quite different. The Yuan Dynasty hoped to pacify the unrest in the West, which represented a process, and the Ming Dynasty hoped that the West would be stable and prosperous, which was a result.

At the beginning, Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, also wanted to move the capital back to Xi 'an. After all, it is the birthplace of Central Plains people. However, due to the busy state affairs in the early days of the establishment of the state affairs, it passed away over time.
