After on-site inspection, residents' complaints are basically true. Smoking was found in the corridors of 15 and 17 floors, especially in the afternoon and evening, and it was ineffective to dissuade them. The team immediately reported the situation to the District Health and Health Commission (Ivy's Office) and Guangwai Street, and requested that the Street Community Construction Office take the lead and cooperate with the Street Urban Management Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team to carry out joint rectification actions with Rong Feng 2008 Community and its properties to study and solve the smoking complaints in this community.

The leaders of Xicheng District Health and Health Commission (Ivy Office) and Guangwai Street Community Construction Office in charge of health and wellness, as well as the captain of Guangwai Urban Management Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team 2, the head of Rong Feng South Community and its property management company, and the Xicheng Tobacco Control Volunteer Service Team immediately took action. The meeting decided to set up a working group on tobacco control in Rong Feng South Community, take effective measures to strengthen tobacco control, handle complaints immediately, and restore a smoke-free environment for residents. First, the working group posted no-smoking signs on the floors of stairs and elevators to publicize and inform the laws and regulations on no-smoking; Then patrol in shifts every day to strengthen the dissuasion of smokers and remind smokers to smoke in the smoking area downstairs; Adhere to the "five parties" joint tobacco control publicity and inspection activities of street community construction office, urban management comprehensive law enforcement team, community and property, and tobacco control volunteer team once a week to promote the formation of tobacco control momentum; Establish a regular return visit system, contact the complainant five times, understand the situation of smoking and patrol dissuasion in the corridor, and improve the satisfaction rate of complaint handling; At the same time, "technical defense" measures were taken, and 22 smoke detectors and 17 high-definition video surveillance were installed in all complaint corridors to carry out targeted tobacco control work.

After more than four months of special rectification, the complaint problem in Rong Feng 2008 community was finally solved, the smoking phenomenon in the building was effectively curbed, and the number of complaints tended to decrease.
