First, it is planned to increase the eastward movement of Shenzhen-Shantou Railway, connect Guangzhou-Shantou Railway via Xili-Pingshan-Huizhou-Shenshan Station, and build a high-speed intercity railway with Guangzhou-Shantou Railway. In the future, intercity railways will be connected with Fuzhou-Xiamen, Hangzhou-Wenzhou, Hangzhou-Shaotai and Qiantang River, forming 1 coastal high-speed railways connected with the Yangtze River Delta.
Second, it is planned to increase the Shenzhen-Heyuan Railway eastward, passing through Shenzhen-Huizhou-Heyuan. Recently, a new Heyuan-Meizhou railway was built from Shenzhen to Heyuan by using the Jiangxi-Shenzhen passenger dedicated line. In the future, the intercity railway will be connected with Meizhou-Longyan-Jinhua-Hangzhou railway, forming a Greater Bay Area-Hangzhou 1 maritime inland high-speed railway.
Thirdly, it is planned to increase the Shenzhen-Yongzhou railway northward, passing through Shenzhen-Dongguan-Guangzhou, so as to solve the problem of insufficient capacity of Greater Bay Area's northward passage. In the future, on the one hand, the intercity railway can be further extended to Yongzhou, Hunan and Huaihua to Chongqing, further expanding the communication channel between Greater Bay Area and Southwest China; On the other hand, Yongzhou is connected with the high-speed rail corridor from Hohhot to Nanning, which is a major north-south corridor, expanding the new corridor from Greater Bay Area to the north.
Fourth, it is planned to increase the Shenzhen-Nanning railway to the west, passing through Xili-Zhuhai-Jiangmen-Shinkansen Airport-Yulin-Nanning. In the future, on the one hand, the intercity railway will further extend westward to Yulin and Nanning through Yangchun, and realize the high-speed connection of western Guangdong urban agglomeration, Shenzhen-Hong Kong metropolitan area and Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration; On the other hand, Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway will be connected to Shinkansen Airport to realize the high-speed connection between the east bank of the Pearl River and the towns in western Guangdong.
Fifthly, it is planned to increase the Shenzhen-Zhaoqing railway to the west, passing through Shenzhen Xili-Zhuhai-Jiangmen-Zhaoqing, and the Shenzhen-Jiangmen section will use the Shenzhen-Nanning railway to build a new Jiangmen-Zhaoqing section. This intercity railway can connect Zhaoqing's Nanguang and Guiguang railways and expand Greater Bay Area's development space to the west.
2. Strengthen the high-speed intercity railway connection between the core cities in Greater Bay Area's inner metropolitan area.
Improve the connection of Guangzhou-Foshan, Shenzhen-Hong Kong and Zhuhai-Macao high-speed railway (speed 300-350 ㎞);
First, Greater Bay Area will use the Shenzhen-Yongzhou Railway to reach the city center of Shenzhen-Hong Kong and Guangzhou-Foshan metropolitan area in 0.5h.
Second, Greater Bay Area will use Shennan Railway to achieve the 0.5h access goal of Shenzhen-Hong Kong and Zhuhai-Macao metropolitan areas.
3. Strengthen the fast intercity railway connection between the centers at all levels in Guan Hui metropolitan area.
Improve the rapid intercity railway connection between the three metropolitan centers in Greater Bay Area and the sub-centers and group centers in the metropolitan area;
First, the east-west planning will increase the China-Shenzhen-Huizhou intercity railway, passing through Huizhou-Shenzhen-Zhongshan, and strengthen the rapid intercity connection between Shenzhen main center and Zhongshan and Huizhou corridor cluster centers.
Second, it is planned to increase the Shenzhen-Shantou intercity railway eastward, passing through the Shenzhen Central Area-Yantian-Daya Bay-Shenzhen Cooperation Zone, and strengthen the rapid connection between Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone and Shenzhen Central Area, among which Daya Bay-Shenzhen Cooperation Zone is a flexible development route.
Third, the north-south planning will increase the Guangzhou-Shenzhen central axis intercity railway and the Shenzhen-Guangzhou intercity railway. Guangzhou-Shenzhen Central Axis Intercity passes through Shenzhen Huanggang Port-Dongguan Guancheng Center-Guangzhou Tianhe, strengthening the connection between Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen Central District. Huanggang Port reserves the conditions for going to Hetao area. Shenzhen-Dongguan-Zengcheng Intercity passes through Shenzhen Bay Port-Dongguan Liaobu-Guangzhou Knowledge City to build Shenzhen-Dongguan Science and Technology Corridor, and Shenzhen Bay is reserved for the western part of Hong Kong.
The establishment of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has put forward higher requirements for the planning and construction of Shenzhen-Shantou intercity railway. Based on the background of Greater Bay Area's development, Bian Xiao proposed to build a two-level intercity railway network between Shenzhen and Shenzhen, hoping to realize the point-to-point rapid connection between central cities in Greater Bay Area, central cities in eastern and western Guangdong and urban agglomerations, and strengthen the rapid connection with other cities by connecting the national high-speed railway network; At the same time, strengthen the connection between cities on the east and west sides of the Pearl River, promote the complementary advantages of cities on the east and west sides of the Pearl River, and provide support for the rapid and balanced development of Greater Bay Area.
