Difference between galvanized wire tube and JDG steel tube

1, material difference: galvanized pipes are divided into two materials: hot-dip galvanized and electro-galvanized. Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life. The cost of galvanizing is low, the surface is not very smooth, and the corrosion resistance is much worse than that of hot galvanized pipe.

2. Construction difference: galvanized conduit is referred to as "conduit" for short, and the electrical construction drawing is expressed as Mt- galvanized conduit. JDG steel pipe is referred to as "welded steel pipe" for short, and the electrical construction drawing is expressed as SC welded steel pipe.

3. Usage difference: galvanized steel pipe can be used for threading pipe and is suitable for large-scale projects. JDG steel pipe is not only used for conveying water, gas, oil and other general low-pressure fluids, but also used for oil heaters, condensation coolers, coal distillation oil washing heat exchangers and other pipelines of coking equipment such as petroleum and chemical industry.

4. Difference of link mode: Galvanized conduit is a kind of snap-in galvanized thin-walled conduit, and its connection is to press the pipe and pipe fittings out of a small pit with snap pliers and connect them closely. JDG is a kind of compact galvanized thin-walled conduit, and its connection depends on the top wire of the pipe fitting to fasten the pipeline and realize close connection.

5. Thickness difference: JDG is 1.6 except wall thickness 16. The wall thickness of galvanized wire tube is related to the tube size, some are greater than 16, 1.2, and some are 1.0.
