Basic introduction of Nanling village

Nanling Village, Taihe Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province is located on the west side of Gui Long section of 106 National Highway, bordering Nancun in the north and Changhong Village and Xinke Village in Hejun Street in the south. The total area of the village is 2.32 square kilometers, the cultivated land area is 9 17 mu, and there are 12 economic cooperatives under its jurisdiction. At the end of 2005, the local registered population was 3,000, including 2 125 agricultural population. The foreign population is 3000. Overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao are about 1500.

Nanling Village Committee of Taihe Town, Baiyun District is located in the southwest of Longgang section of Taihe Town 106 National Highway, covering an area of about 2.3 square kilometers. It has 12 economic cooperatives under its jurisdiction, with a registered population of 3 172 and a foreign population of about 9,000. Nanling Village Committee is about 20 kilometers away from downtown Guangzhou and 8 kilometers away from Taihe Town Government. National Highway 106 runs through the north and south and is located in the plain. Nanling Village Committee makes full use of the local favorable geographical position to explore and improve the land use value. After more than ten years of exploration and hard development, the village collective economy has gradually formed from the primary industry such as planting and animal husbandry to the secondary and tertiary industries such as leasing land and property. At present, the secondary and tertiary industries account for more than 90% of the collective economic income of village communities.
