In order to further standardize the production of enterprises, improve the product quality and promote the healthy development of the industry, AQSIQ carried out national supervision and spot checks on the quality of ceramic tiles, and * * * randomly checked the products produced by enterprises in Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong, Hebei, Sichuan, Henan, Jiangxi, Hubei and municipalities directly under the Central Government 1 135.

The results of spot check show that the overall quality of ceramic tile products is good, and the sampling pass rate of large and medium-sized enterprises is 100%. The qualified rate of products of small enterprises is 72.5%, and there are many product quality problems.

The main quality problem reflected in this spot check is that the product size deviation is large; The water absorption rate is inconsistent with the express; Low failure strength and modulus; The radioactivity of individual products exceeds the standard requirements.

First, the limit of radionuclide exceeded the standard. In this spot check, two products failed in radioactive detection. The compulsory national standard GB6566-200 1 Radionuclide Limit of Building Materials stipulates that the radioactivity of Class A decoration materials should meet both internal exposure index ≤ 1.0 and external exposure index ≤ 1.3. Excessive radionuclide in building materials will do harm to human health.

Second, the failure strength and fracture modulus do not meet the standard requirements. In this spot check, the failure strength of 4 products and the fracture modulus of 6 products were unqualified. Failure strength and flexural strength are important technical indicators of ceramic tiles, and products with low failure strength and flexural strength are easy to cause cracking, damage or surface defects in use.

Third, the water absorption rate is not up to standard. In this spot check, the water absorption rate of four products does not meet the requirements of the express standard. For example, the standard water absorption rate of stoneware products is more than 6% and less than or equal to 10%, while the actual inspection results of some products are more than 10%.

Fourth, the size deviation exceeds the standard. In this spot check, the deviation between the size of seven products and the actual size exceeded the standard requirements.

In view of the problems reflected in this spot check, AQSIQ will instruct the relevant quality and technical supervision departments to deal with the unqualified enterprises in this spot check in strict accordance with the provisions of the product quality law and other relevant laws and regulations, and make rectification within a time limit. At the same time, a number of good products and their production enterprises in spot checks were announced to guide consumers to choose and buy. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine will continue to conduct spot checks on the quality of such products to create a comfortable and satisfactory consumption environment for consumers.
