I wouldn't consider working near my hometown. There are two reasons:

First, the work salary near my hometown is low, the interpersonal relationship is complex, and there is no environment for fair competition; Although it is close to home, there are indeed many fewer opportunities in small cities. The economy of small cities is definitely not as good as that of big cities, and the natural employment opportunities and work platforms will be completely different.

Second, the older I get, the more I feel that although I can go back to my previous hometown at close range, I can't go back to that memory, and it is difficult to find a way out in real life. Some people say: "the taste of the year is light." For a migrant worker who has been away for many years, it is true. The homesickness and customs behind the flavor of the year have naturally lost their proper appearance in the process of urbanization. When we sometimes say homesickness, we are actually talking about the good memories of childhood, while when it comes to old customs, it is naturally related to the cultural background of the whole growth. Sometimes going back also means not going back. As Haizi said: what should be gained has not been obtained, and what should be lost has long been lost. Relatives and friends in my hometown also have their own lives on the road of life.
