He is currently the Secretary-General of the National Key Discipline Geotechnical Engineering Research Center, the director of the National 973 Project (No.:2006CB2022), the vice chairman of the Soft Rock Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, the member of the International Society of Rock Mechanics, the deputy secretary-general of the Technical Construction Committee of the China Building Industry Association, the member of the Expert Committee of the China Coatings Industry Association, and the executive director of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association. Mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in deep rock mechanics and its engineering disaster control, soft rock engineering clay mineralogy, landslide disaster mechanism and its monitoring and forecasting technology. The related research results won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1 item, three provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress items, and published the monograph "Characteristics of Soft Rock Clay in China Coal Mine", and published more than 50 academic papers in domestic first-class journals such as Science Bulletin, Journal of Coal, Journal of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, Journal of Earth Science and Journal of China University of Mining and Technology.
