The rainwater collection area above the dam site 16.89 square kilometers, and the total storage capacity of the project is 9.97 million cubic meters. According to Classification and Flood Standard of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering (SL252-2000), the project scale of Xianlin Reservoir is small (I) reservoir, and considering the importance of emergency water supply objects, the project grade is Grade II. Its main buildings, including barrage, drainage building, water delivery building, water replenishment building and water circulation project in the reservoir area, are all secondary buildings.

Spillway structure adopts deep-hole spillway tunnel, which is arranged on the right bank according to topographic conditions and downstream river course, about108m away from the right dam head, with a tunnel diameter of 4.5m.. It consists of a water inlet, a tunnel body and an outlet energy dissipation section. The bottom elevation of the entrance is 42.00 meters, and a sand bar is set in front of the entrance with a longitudinal slope of 0.66%. According to the needs of the project, an emergency door is set at the entrance and a working door is set at the exit. The outlet uses underflow energy dissipation. The stilling basin is 30m long, with a bottom elevation of 37.50m and a top elevation of 40.50m. ..

The water conveyance structure includes a water conveyance inlet, a water conveyance tunnel, a semi-underground energy dissipation valve chamber, a Dadaosha pressurized pumping station (i.e. a salt-tolerant water intake pumping station) and supporting water conveyance pipelines; Water supply structures include water supply channels (i.e. water tunnels) and semi-underground water supply pumping stations. The water conveyance structure is combined with the diversion tunnel leading into the city. The total length of the water conveyance line is15266m, in which the newly-opened tunnel10886m has a circular section (three branch tunnels need to be built in the middle, and the branch tunnels have a gate-shaped section), in which the concrete lining section is 927 1 m, the inner diameter after lining is 3.6m, and the steel pipe lining section is 65438+ m, which is combined with the Qiantang River diversion project. A large sand pumping station is set up near the sand storage tank to lift the water to the Coral Sand Reservoir, and the water intake scale is 26 cubic meters per second. Pumping stations include suction wells, pump houses, water outlets, water pipelines and ancillary buildings. The length of the water pipeline from the booster pump station to the Coral Sand Reservoir is 1030m, and the 1 concrete pipe jacking with a diameter of 3.5m is adopted. A semi-underground energy dissipation valve chamber is set near Wu Yuan in Daqing Valley to eliminate the excessive head of incoming water from Xianlin Reservoir. The water supply structure scheme is to set up a semi-underground water supply pumping station near Wu Yuan in Daqinggu. The pumping station takes water directly from Qiantang River, enters the urban area through the water diversion channel, and sends the water back to Xianlin Reservoir.

The Xianlin Reservoir Project mainly adopts the pressure water delivery method, that is, the water is delivered to Coral Sand by using the height difference between Xianlin Reservoir and Coral Sand Reservoir (part of the water is delivered to the city without pressure), and the water is replenished to the main tunnel by using the pressurized pumping station.
