Hangzhou announces monetary subsidies and rent standards for low-rent housing

Recently, the Hangzhou Municipal Price Bureau announced the monetary subsidies and rent standards for urban low-rent housing. Families who meet the requirements of low-rent housing security can get a monthly monetary subsidy of 20 yuan/square meter for renting in the rental market, and the monthly rent of low-rent housing ranges from 0.5 yuan to 2.27 yuan per square meter.

According to the newly published standards, if the construction area of low-rent housing for poor families is less than 50 square meters, the monthly rent for families holding the Hangzhou Poor Family Assistance Certificate is 0.50 yuan/square meter, and the monthly rent for families holding the Hangzhou Low-income Family Assistance Certificate is 0.80 yuan/square meter. The monthly rent for the part with a building area of more than 50 square meters is 2.27 yuan/square meter. Low-rent housing tenants are exempt from property management fees, and the property management fees to be paid are borne by the government.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Hangzhou Municipal Price Bureau, the "monetary subsidy" is aimed at families who meet the conditions of low-rent housing security and have rented housing in the rental market. The government issues rental subsidies according to the standard of low-rent housing security area. According to the Measures for the Administration of Urban Low-rent Housing Security in Hangzhou, the security area of low-rent housing for each household must be controlled between 36 square meters and 50 square meters.
