How to detect water leakage in houses?
I. Water storage test
Water storage test, also known as closed water test. After waterproof construction of flat roof and toilet, the waterproof effect of waterproof layer can be verified by water storage test. The water storage test should be carried out 24 hours after the waterproof construction is completed, and the downstairs residents should be contacted in advance to prevent and assist water leakage.
During the impoundment test, the impoundment depth shall be no less than 20mm and the impoundment time shall be no less than 24 h, and observe whether the water level drops obviously, and check whether there is leakage downstairs at any time. If water leakage is found, the water storage test should be stopped immediately. There is no leakage on the top surface of the downstairs, and there is no obvious drop in the liquid level. The water storage test is qualified.
Second, the drenching test
Water spraying test is a method for quality acceptance of waterproof projects, which is suitable for acceptance of waterproof projects such as walls, external walls, doors and windows, joints and sloping roofs.
The drenching test is simple and easy. Usually it only needs to be sprayed from top to bottom for a period of time. The drenching test time shall not be less than 2 hours, and there shall be no missing parts in the testing area. The water spray test shall be carried out by a special person. After the water spray test, check whether there is leakage on the back water surface. If no leakage is found, it means acceptance.
Third, the instrument inspection
Pucci waterproof detector is adopted. The working principle of the instrument is: taking the water seeping from the wall, floor and roof as the medium, the conductivity of the seepage area is detected by the waterproof detector. When approaching the water leakage point, the interface value of the instrument increases and the buzzer sounds stronger, thus accurately judging the water leakage position. The equipment is mainly used for water leakage of houses, walls and floors, and can effectively provide a basis for judging waterproof work.
Knowledge expansion
If you want to distinguish water leakage, you can make an appointment to visit the property management office. When decorating, it is best to see the location of the water leakage point clearly and confirm whether there is perforation or removal around the water leakage point. If not, basically, if you just fan ash and build bricks, it will not affect the waterproof layer of the wall, so it is not because of the decoration that causes water leakage.
If the wall cracks near the water leakage point, or there is water leakage at the outer wall, it is basically the cracking of the building structure, which is a problem of the house. If it is a new wall, it must be a decoration problem. It is suggested to find good personnel from both sides to check the pass. Through analysis together, it is the best, and which party is responsible for the implementation.
