If it is less than 8: 1, it is more cost-effective to apply for peak-valley electricity, otherwise the average daily electricity price of peak-valley electricity is higher than that of conventional electricity consumption.

Is it necessary to apply for peak-valley electricity?

For families that use less electricity from 22: 00 to 8: 00 the next day, it may not be cost-effective to install peak-valley meters. The advantages and disadvantages of applying for peak-valley electricity are that the electricity consumption at work is low during the day and high at home at night, which is beneficial to such families, and vice versa.

The significance of peak-valley electricity price is to encourage residents to use the preferential conditions of low-valley electricity price to consume a lot of low-valley electricity.
