How to prevent freezing and heat preservation of fire pipeline

Thermal insulation of pipelines is one of the necessary means, but it cannot completely prevent icing. There is no way to install a drain valve at the end of the pipeline to maintain the state of long running water. If the fire pipe can be connected indoors, a valve can be added to cut off the water flow. Then add more solid antifreeze in the subsequent pipeline, and close the access valve after connecting the water pipes. Insulation outside, antifreeze inside, basically won't freeze.

Electric heating, building ceilings, and pipes that need thermal insulation in pipe wells must pass anti-corrosion pressure test, and civil engineering can be finally closed after thermal insulation is completed. It is forbidden to reverse the construction process.

Interfaces and all gaps of thermal insulation materials are required to be tightly bonded with special glue for closed-cell foam rubber and plastic.

Pipeline insulation should be carried out according to design requirements and specifications, especially the thickness of insulation layer should be in accordance with design requirements.

When bonding thermal insulation materials, sundries, dust and oil stains on the surface of the pipeline must be cleaned up. The thermal insulation material in the casing must be filled and closely connected with the thermal insulation of the pipeline.

Heat preservation must be smooth and beautiful. If the pipeline is found to be frozen and cracked, the nearest control valve should be closed as soon as possible and the elevator should be raised to the floor above the water leakage point. To prevent secondary disasters caused by water leakage, waterproof measures shall be taken for the corresponding floors to isolate water leakage from entering the elevator shaft through the car door.

Check the frozen cracked pipeline, determine the maintenance scheme and required materials, and organize personnel to arrange maintenance. After the maintenance is completed and the pressure test is normal, the pipeline in the maintenance area shall be insulated.
