What do these signs mean?

The first two are probably the most common signs we see. This kind of mark, referred to as "CE safety conformity mark" or "CE mark", is the earliest mark of European economic entity (referred to as the EU), which is used to prove that the product meets the safety requirements of relevant directives issued by the EU. The "safety" category of CE mark includes four aspects, namely: safety to users (people), pets (livestock and poultry), property (property) and environment (natural environment).

CE mark is a safety mark, which is mandatory in 28 European countries. The 28 countries are:

1Before May 2004, there were 15 EU member states: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom (Great Britain) UK;

New Member States that joined the EU on May 6, 2004: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Malta and Cyprus;

Among the four members of the European Free Trade Association, the other three members except Switzerland:

Iceland Iceland, Liechtenstein Liechtenstein, Norway.

"EC (European conformity) mark" is used in English for CE mark, but in the EU product directiveNo. 93/68/EEC published on July 22nd, 1993, "CE mark" was formally used instead of "EC mark". Up to now, "CE mark" has been an official term used in EU documents. CE mark is a compulsory product mark unique to the European Union. It is a sign that the product conforms to the relevant laws and regulations of the European Union on safety, health and environmental protection. It is estimated that more than 70% of the products currently circulating in the EU unified market have been marked with CE, otherwise they are not allowed to enter the market. By marking the ce mark on their products, manufacturers declare that their products fully comply with the relevant provisions of the EU directives. If the regulations permit, the CE mark can also be marked on the package or attached documents. CE mark is not a test mark, nor is it a guarantee statement specifically for consumers, but only indicates that the manufacturer declares that its products comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

The above-mentioned "EU Directives" refer to a set of directives, covering many basic health and safety regulations and procedures for determining the degree of conformity of products. Each directive will detail the basic provisions of the unified European standards formulated by regional standard-setting bodies. Therefore, the manufacturers, importers and distributors of related products must clearly show that the products fully comply with the health and safety regulations listed in the "Basic Clauses" of each directive.

The "European Toy Safety Directives" for toy safety are 88/378/EEC and 93/68/EEC.

From June of 1990 to June of 1, the European Union required all toy products sold in the EU market to meet the CE mark standard, and the CE mark should be marked on the toy packaging.

"CE" is the abbreviation of French "Conformite Europe", which means "European consistency".

The third type is recyclable, and the number in the middle of the arrow indicates the type of material, for example, 1 is a PET material;

Fourth, recycling labels: indicating that commodities or their packaging are made of renewable materials, which is beneficial to the environment and the protection of the earth. Using more recyclable and recyclable goods can reduce the consumption of earth resources. The symbols of different countries will be different. Most of the products produced in Japan and South Korea are square, while those produced in Europe and America are triangular, but they are all round with arrows.

Fifth, environmental label: it means that the packaging of products meets the requirements of environmental protection, and it means that products meet the requirements of ecological balance and environmental protection from production to use to final consumption and recycling.

Finally, there is a sign not to throw the trash can, such as this icon on the battery.
