Legal basis: Article 15 of the Measures for the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution in Beijing stipulates that the construction unit shall take effective measures to prevent and control noise pollution if the construction operation discharges noise to the surrounding living environment, so as to make the discharged noise meet the national environmental noise emission standard for construction sites. The cost of taking noise pollution prevention measures is included in the project cost.
