The Cha family in Wuyuan is a "literary family". The ancestor Cha, Zi, passed the imperial examination in the Southern Tang Dynasty, was appointed as the Lu 'an Order of Shouzhou, and later served as an observer in the Southern Tang Dynasty. In 1963, 50-year-old Cha resigned as a recluse in Liaowu (later called Chagong Mountain) in the western suburb of Wuyuan County, where he built a house and settled down, and set up "Fang Shan Daoyuan" to give lectures to county magistrates and celebrities. Cha Yuanzhou, the son of Cha, was an official in the Southern Tang Dynasty at first, and later returned to the Song Dynasty, where he attacked his father's official shadow and blessed him in the Taichang Hall of the Song Dynasty. According to legend, when Cha Xiu Yuan lived in Buju Wuyuan, he dreamed of the man of God: "Stop when you see a phoenix and live when you meet a phoenix." In the second year of Song Gande (964), he came to the intersection of Zhejiang and Fengshan, north of Wu Bei, and asked the locals about the place names.
