What is a community worker?

Full-time community workers refer to directors, deputy directors and members who specialize in the work of community neighborhood committees.

Full-time community workers refer to professionals who are recruited by the Provincial Civil Affairs Department, take unified examinations and interview for community service. Community full-time workers are composed of people who have obtained the qualification of community full-time workers through open recruitment.

Community workers belong to the staff employed by township community workers' service stations, and are neither prepared by civil servants nor by public institutions. At present, there are no community workers, but in some developed areas, the treatment of community secretaries or directors will be implemented with reference to the treatment standards compiled by local institutions, including areas where community workstations are being piloted. These people who can enjoy the establishment treatment of public institutions are the so-called "establishment social workers"; Other community workers who fail to enjoy the treatment standards set by public institutions are all "non-social workers".
