The history of Xiushan County in Chongqing?

Qin belongs to Wuxi County in central Guizhou, Fuling County in Ba County and Ganling County in Wuling County in Han Dynasty, Shuyang County in Wuling County and Wuchuan County in Sizhou in Tang Dynasty. In the Northern Song Dynasty, the local magistrate of Pingcha Cave was established, and in the Southern Song Dynasty, the local magistrate of Yimei Cave and Shi Ye Cave was established and transferred to Sizhou.

During the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, the local magistrate changed to a long lawsuit. In the first year of Qing Qianlong (1736), the domestic chieftain was abolished and Xiushan county was established, belonging to Youyang Zhili Prefecture. In the west of the county seat, there is Gaoxiu Mountain, which is 1000 feet high, with picturesque cliffs and green walls. This county is named after it.

At the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to Dongchuan Road, 1950 to Youyang District, 1952 to Fuling District, 1983 to Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, and 1988 to Qianjiang District. 1997 belongs to Chongqing.

1997, Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County covers an area of 2450.3 square kilometers and has a population of 555,000, including 310.2 million Tujia and Miao people, and governs 3 towns and 46 townships. The county government is located in Zhonghe Town.

In 2000, Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County governed nine towns, namely Zhonghe, Pingkai, Qingxichang, Shi Ye, Hong 'an, Shidi, Longchi, Rongxi and Meijiang. Lotus, Tu Yong, Xiaotang, Guanzhuang, Hongyan, Yingfeng, Cenxi, Zhong Ping, Guanqiao, Guanzhou, Rong Er, Dragon Palace, Ma Ping, Yajiang, Haiyang, Daxi, Baoan, Liren, Meicui, Miaoquan, Songnong, Yongdong, Ganchuan, He Chuan, Maopo, Gaotian and He Chuan. According to the fifth census, the total population of the county is 507,522. Among them, there are 37,076 people in Zhonghe Town, Pingkai Town 1200 1 person, Shi Ye Town 902 1 person, Hong 'an Town12,655 people, Shidi Town 8,893 people, longchi town City15,490 people. On July 2nd, 20001year, Chongqing Municipal People's Government (Yufu [2006 54 38+0]654 38+025) approved Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County to adjust 9 towns and 40 townships into 32 townships. After the adjustment, the average township area in Xiushan County expanded from 50 square kilometers before the adjustment to 76.57 square kilometers, and the average township population increased from 12050 to 18452:

1. Cancel 22 townships: Tu Yong, Yingfeng, Hongyan, Xiaotang, Lianhua, Guanqiao, Longgong, Meicui, He Chuan, Yuping, Maopo, Sanhechang, Longfeng, Meisha, Limu, Xi Zhong, Yanlong, Guanzhuang, Yilong, Yajiang, Ling Jun and Lanqiao.

Second, build five new towns.

(1) guanzhuang town. The town government is stationed in Guanzhuang, which has jurisdiction over the former Guanzhuang, Hongyan Township and Xiaotang Township Maopo, Tuanjie, Tangdian, Lianrong, Baiyangtuo, Chunguang and Huamian. It covers an area of 10 1.72 square kilometers, with a total population of 35,208, including 2,600 non-agricultural people, and governs 30 village committees.

② Rong Er Town. Rong Er, where the town government is located, governs the former administrative areas of Rong Er Township and Longgong Township, with an area of 79.6 1 km2 and a total population of 208 1 1, including 32 15 non-agricultural population, and governs 20 village committees.

(3) Yajiang Town. The town government is located in Yajiang, with an administrative area of 70.9 square kilometers and a total population of 16753, including non-agricultural population 1 150, and governs 15 village committees.

(4) Close the town. The town government is located in the pass, which governs the administrative areas of the 5 th, 6 th, 7 th and 8 th villagers' groups in Lingjun Township and Tang Ao Township, with an area of 124.46 square kilometers and a total population of 2 1264, including non-agricultural population 144 1 person and village committee/kloc.

(5) Lanqiao Town. The town government is located in Lanqiao, which governs the administrative area of Lanqiao Township, with an area of 73. 17 square kilometers and a total population of16,232, including 4,478 non-agricultural people, and governs 14 village committees.

Third, adjust the administrative regions of 7 towns and 6 townships.

(1) Zhonghe Town. The town government is located in Zhonghe, which governs the original administrative areas of Zhonghe Town, Tuyong Township and Yingfeng Township, and the three villages of Guoyuan, Liang Ting and Leech in Lianhua Township. There are 8 villagers' groups in Shilian Village 1, 2, 3 and 8 in Pingkai Town, covering an area of 86.75 square kilometers, with a total population of 73,984, including 28,608 non-agricultural people, and governing 32 village committees.

(2) Pingkai Town. The town government is located in Pingkai, and governs the original Pingkai town (except villagers' groups of Shilian Village 1, 2, 3 and 8), Baden, Jiao Xiao, Gui Lian, Dajiao, Yinchang, Dengyang and Guanqiao villages in Guanqiao Township, and Lianhua, Mingjiazhai, Daxigou, Magu, Maxi, Guixian and Guiba in Lianhua Township.

③ Shi Ye Town. The town government is located in Shi Ye, which governs the administrative areas of Shiye Town and Yanping Village in Guanqiao Township, with an area of 37.27 square kilometers and a total population of 1 1278, including 750 non-agricultural people, and governs 1 1 village committees.

(4) longchi town. The town government is located in Longchi, which governs the former administrative areas of longchi town and Meicui Township, with an area of 99.37 square kilometers and a total population of 26,865, including non-agricultural population 1.382, and governs 3 1 village committee.

(5) Rongxi Town. The town government is located in Rongxi, which governs the administrative areas of Ganzhi Village, Ganxi Village and Laoya Village in Rongxi Town and Yuping Township, with an area of 109.42 square kilometers and a total population of 2 1237, including non-agricultural population 1076 and village committees 16.

(6) Qingxichang Town. The town government is located in Qingxichang, and governs the administrative areas of Qingxichang Town, Sanhechang Township, Longfeng Township and Meisha Township in Guiming, Xixi, Mandong, Guitang, Hou Li, Changgang, Dajing, Borneolum, Gaoxiu and Xinglian 10 villages, with an area of 83.34 square kilometers and a total population of 56,079, including non-agricultural population.

(7) Meijiang Town. The town government is located in Meijiang, which governs the administrative areas of Meijiang Town, Limu Township and monster hunter Township, with an area of 142.2 square kilometers, a total population of 3683 1, and a non-agricultural population of 12 10, and governs 3 1 village committees.

(8) Miaoquan Township. Located in Yaojiawan, the township government governs Miaoquan Township, xiang tang Village and Hot Water Village in Xiaotang Township, with an area of 59.70 square kilometers and a total population of 9,372, including 222 non-agricultural people, and governs 12 village committees.

(9) Yongdong Town. The township government is located in Yongdong, which governs the former administrative areas of Yongdong and He Chuan townships, with an area of 67.78 square kilometers and a total population of 12 130, including 455 non-agricultural people, and governs 16 village committees.

(10) Gaotian Township. The township government is located in Gaotian, which governs the former administrative areas of Gaotian Township and Maopo Township, with an area of 150.86 square kilometers and a total population of 14496, including 285 non-agricultural people, and governs 18 village committees.

(1 1) Xikou town. The township government is located in Xikou, and governs the administrative areas of eight villages, namely, Xikou Township, Baiyantou, Baifenqiang, Sitang, Longdong, Yangliuba, Tang Tian, Banana and Fengxiang, with an area of 92.20 square kilometers and a population of 17543, of which the non-agricultural population is 9 1 1.

(12) Zhong Ling Town. The township government is located in Ma Lukou, which governs the former Zhong Ling Township and Xi Zhong Township, with an area of 157.68 square kilometers and a total population of 2 19 10, including 372 non-agricultural people, and governs 23 village committees.

(13) Tang Ao Town. The township government is located in Liangshuijing, which has jurisdiction over Tang Ao Township (except Xiangshuiyan, Xuetanggao, Dazhuyuan and langxi Village in Tang Xue Cun) and Wen Jia Village in Meisha Township, with an area of 48.69 square kilometers and a total population of 1 1782, including non-agricultural population 158, and has jurisdiction over/kloc-.

4. Hong 'an and Shidi towns, and Zhong Ping, Cenxi, Guanzhou, Ma Ping, Haiyang, Daxi, Baoan, Liren, Songnong, Ganchuan, Xiaoxi, Bajia 12 towns remain unchanged.

In 2002, Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County governed 14 towns, 18 townships, 8 neighborhood committees and 522 village committees. At the end of the year, the total registered population was 599,800, including 5 1.400 non-agricultural population.
