Ruminants are: what animals?

Camels, deer, giraffes, alpacas, antelopes, cattle, sheep, etc. These animals are called ruminants because they have complex ruminant stomach and can ruminate food.

The digestion of ruminants is divided into two stages: first, the chew is swallowed into the stomach, and after a period of time, the semi-digested food is chewed again. Ruminants include cattle, sheep, camels and deer. Ruminants are similar in anatomy in that they are cloven-hoofed animals.

The stomach of ruminants is divided into four gastric cavities, namely rumen, reticulum, bicuspid stomach and abomasum. The first two gastric cavities (rumen and reticular tissue) mix food and bile, especially using bacteria to decompose cellulose into glucose. Then the food is ruminated, chewed slowly, fully mixed and further decomposed into fibers. Then swallow again, pass through rumen to double valve stomach, and dehydrate. Then send it to the abomasum. Finally sent to the small intestine for absorption.
